The things that few dare try are but an invitation for
a path aloft from ground to sky, indeed a way to soar.
The masses live in muted prisons, hearing what they long to hear
all the while their each decision based in terror and in fear;
And yet hope presents an answer, one that cannot be denied,
just a solitary rebel without mute who won’t comply;
And this lone rebel dares but ask the questions most would shun,
and sees facetious claims dissolve with claimant’s confusion.
For Kipling’s six wise serving men are all the tools one needs
to see that those who claim to rule are merely common thieves;
Repeating what they’re told, without the slightest thought
of what the truth may be behind the lies they’re taught -
claiming part with justice, they would force you to “obey”
their corporate private war terms which freedom does evade.
Yet here I stand with questions that cause extreme concern:
“Just who the fuck made you my god, must I obey or burn?”
For I am absent knowledge of how your words of art
would bind me in your service, when I defy, depart.
And though you may desire my willing, bowing knee,
I’ll stand here on my own, with a finger just for thee…
