There's gotta be a way to point this out to the courts to give (yet another) chance at fundamental rightness...
I don't comprehend why any attorney would want to exclude help from anyone (such as an advocate), unless:
1) they have something to hide in their practices or billing, and/or
2) think that the advocate is going to leak the evidence from the case and legal strategies publicly (or to the opposition anyway), and/or
3) Just unwilling to learn anything different from what they have been instructed.
I think this lady fell more in the second and third categories. Sorry that she couldn't be more up-to-date and flexible.
